About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly
- Operating the CT scanner to produce high-quality images
- Reviewing images to ensure they meet quality standards
- Communicating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient results and plan treatment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Current licensure and certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiology
- Experience working with CT scanners and interpreting images
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
