Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a local contract basis in Libertyville, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Administer oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests, such as spirometry and bronchoscopy.
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for each patient.
Requirements:
- Active license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
- At least 2 years of experience working with full lifespan of patients.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA), as well as PALS and NRP certifications.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
