LTC LPN Licensed Practical Nurse- Long Term Care
Position Overview :
The job of a Long-Term Care LPN is to provide care for elderly patients. The nurse will work under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses. This nurse will need to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Monitor patients' health by assessing vitals and providing necessary treatments
Administer medications, injections, and perform CPR when required
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, including self-care after discharge, holistic health, available resources, and follow-up care
Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, and restroom needs
Supervise CNAs and other support staff
Qualifications : NCLEX-PN
Required Certifications : BLS issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
1 year of LTC experience in the last 2 years
