Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Long Term Care RNs and LPNs for a nursing home in Merrill, WI. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care. As a LTC Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety while assisting with various medical procedures.
- LTC RN and LPN Contracts available
- Day shift, Evening shift or Overnight shift
- 13 week contract
- Full-time hours or 4 days per week
- Pay depends on license, stipends offered and insurance
Pay range:
LPN: $37.50/hr
RN: $45.50/hr
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Conduct assessments and monitor patient conditions, documenting vital signs and medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license in WI
- Proficient in basic life support (BLS) techniques; advanced certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in nursing homes is advantageous.
