LTC RN | Registered Nurse- Long Term Care
Position Overview:
The job of the Long-Term Care Registered Nurse is to provide ongoing medical care to patients with chronic or progressive conditions. The nurse will need to be comfortable in assessing patients and providing guidance to patients in their treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring symptoms and the vital signs of patients
- Maintaining records for the facility
- Implementing care plans
- Overseeing aides and assistants as they help patients’ everyday needs
- Administering medication and injections
Qualifications:
- ADN or BSN
- Registered Nurse License
- Required Certifications: BLS issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- 1 year of LTC experience in the last 2 years
- Additional requirements based on facility
