We’re seeking a talented and creative Videographer & Photo Editor with strong technical skills to join our team. This position is critical to our success, driving the visual elements of our brand across multiple channels. If you have a keen eye for design, a passion for storytelling through visuals, and the technical prowess to bring it all together, we want to hear from you! The individual will be responsible for the end-to-end video storytelling and production. This role requires the ability to create video content that aligns with our brand and market strategy, appealing to our target audience. The ideal candidate must possess strong editing skills, color correction, and special effects capabilities, and be able to work closely with the team to ensure the video content perfectly meets operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
o Pre-Production
- Collaborate with team to develop video concepts and storyboards
- Confirm travel accommodations for traveling events
- Plan shot list, scripts, equipment needs
- Oversee productions creatively, ensuring the vision is executed flawlessly from concept to completion
o Production
- Record professional video and audio of interviews, events, commercials, documentaries, trailers, narratives, short-form social media content, sizzle reels and other promotional videos using shotgun boom mics, wireless lavaliers and handheld gimbals using creative cinematic techniques, framing, lighting and sound.
- Operate equipment needed to capture content
- Direct on-site shooting, ensuring creative vision aligns and stays on topic of project
o Editing
- Use a variety of Adobe Creative Suite software – Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign – and other resources to create animations, transitions, logos, jumpbacks, lower thirds and other design elements
- Create and edit creation of and motion graphics for marketing/advertising videos
- Edit, format, and manipulate photos and videos efficiently in accordance with brand guidelines or directed needs
- Edit previously recorded footage that we have in our brand archive
- Edit live conferences that are streamed via zoom or other platforms
- Post-Production
- Create polished, final deliverables for various platforms (social media, websites, marketing campaigns, etc.)
- Organize and archive video assets for future use
o Must have a creative mindset, the ability to independently manage the entire video production process from shooting to editing, strong teamwork skills, and a high sense of responsibility.
Equipment Requirements
o Camera Equipment
- Professional DSLR, Mirrorless Camera, or higher quality (e.g., Sony A7 Series, Canon EOS R, or equivalent)
- Variety of lenses, including:
- Wide-angle lens
- Prime lens (e.g., 50mm)
- Zoom lens
o Audio Equipment
- External microphone (e.g., shotgun mic such as Rode VideoMic or similar)
- Lavalier (clip-on) microphone for interviews or on-camera talent
o Lighting Equipment
- Portable lighting kit (e.g., LED panels, ring light, or softboxes)
- Light stands or mounts
o Stabilization and Support
- Tripod or monopod
- Gimbal or stabilizer for smooth footage
o Editing Tools
- Access to professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Zoom recording editing capabilities
o Other Accessories
- External storage (e.g., SSDs or hard drives for backups)
- Memory cards with sufficient capacity and speed
- Batteries and chargers to sustain a full shoot
o Optional (but preferred):
- Drone with camera for aerial footage
- Teleprompter or cue cards setup
**Personal equipment used during working hours will be rented by the company for a flat rate**
Travel Requirements: This role requires regular travel, including overnight stays as needed, up to 70% of the time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Film/Television Production, or related field is preferred
- 3 years of video production experience
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite with an emphasis on Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Expert understanding of Zoom recordings and how to edit
- Expert understanding of lighting for various scenarios
- Intermediate understanding of audio equipment and audio editing
- Strong time management and self-management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with batch image processing using capture one software

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
