Pro Auto Spa is looking for an experienced and skilled Powder Coating Technician to join our growing team in Colorado Springs. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and is passionate about automotive finishing and refinishing. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform high-quality powder coating applications on a variety of automotive and industrial components.
• Prepare surfaces for coating, including cleaning, sandblasting, and masking.
• Operate and maintain powder coating equipment to ensure top-tier finishes.
• Handle and apply Cerakote, hydro dipping, chroming, and painting when necessary.
• Utilize wheel machining, tire and wheel equipment, and vibratory polishing techniques.
• Work with sandblasting equipment for proper surface preparation.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality control and adherence to company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety procedures.
• Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Experience: Prior experience in powder coating is required. Experience in Cerakote, hydro dipping, chroming, painting, wheel machining, and sandblasting is a strong plus.
• Coachable: Willing to learn new skills and techniques to improve craftsmanship.
• Attitude: A positive mindset with the ability to work well in a team environment.
