The Opportunity:
We're looking for a motivated Director of Service Dispatch Operations to oversee and manage our service and install administrative processes. This role requires a hands-on leader who is willing to wear multiple hats as needed in our growing business. From the office, you'll manage the scheduling, dispatching, work order reviews, estimating, and customer expectations while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to PRO BEV's high-quality standards.
In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring after-hour service calls (excluding Sundays and on a rotating schedule) to coordinate customer needs with service technicians.
What You'll Do:
- Be a driving force for the service dispatch operations and related administrative processes and oversee coordination of field services, maintenance, and installations
- Oversee daily dispatching & service/install team efficiency
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and customer expectations
- Train, mentor, and support technicians for top performance
- Ensure high-quality service, pricing accuracy, and customer satisfaction
- Effectively utilize software for service/project management to perform work order reviews, create estimates and track project/maintenance (PM)
- Implement strategies to increase service/install profitability and efficiency
- Monitor after-hour service calls (remotely and excluding Sundays), create work orders, and coordinate with customers and technicians on a rotating schedule
The Best Candidate Will Possess:
- 5 years of experience in customer service, project management, or the service industry
- 5 years of experience in service dispatch management and related administrative processes
- A flexible and proactive mindset willing to step in where needed to support the team
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- High proficiency in service software, dispatching, and project tracking or the ability to learn software systems quickly
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's in Management preferred)
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
