What Youll Do:
As a Medical Assistant at Pro-Care, youll be working closely with our pain management provider to support patient care, both in the clinic and virtually. Your role will be key in ensuring smooth operations and high-quality care by assisting with patient prep, therapeutic treatments, patient education, and much more. Whether youre helping a patient feel at ease before a procedure or ensuring the treatment area is organized and ready to go, youll make a difference every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Procedures: Assisting pain management specialist with in office injections and minor procedures.
- Patient Interaction and Education: Answer patient inquiries with empathy, providing reassurance and clear information.
- Post-Care Instructions: Provide patients with detailed instructions for their care, both in the clinic and at home, helping them feel confident in their recovery.
- Clinic Maintenance: Ensure that treatment areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked with necessary medical supplies and equipment.
- Teamwork: Collaborate closely with healthcare providers and other team members to streamline patient care and clinic operations.
- Administrative Support: Manage phone messages, answer questions, and coordinate patient, physician, and pharmacy communications.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CMA, CMAC, RMA, or NCMA certification required.
- College degree preferredideally in kinesiology, sports medicine, pre-med, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus (but not required).
- Previous experience in healthcare or rehabilitation is highly desirable.
- Physical ability to assist patients during in-office procedures.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
