We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forman to oversee construction projects and ensure that work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage teams effectively. This role requires proficiency in various construction management software and tools, as well as a keen eye for detail in blueprint reading and project scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Manage project schedules, coordinating tasks among team members to meet deadlines.
• Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and Primavera for project tracking and reporting.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide work processes and resolve any discrepancies on-site.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Conduct regular inspections of work progress, quality control, and adherence to contract specifications.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a productive work environment.
• Prepare reports on project status, including updates on timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Skills

• Proficiency in pipeline management and contract negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of construction management software including HeavyBid for estimating costs.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to visualize project outcomes effectively.
• Experience in project scheduling with tools like Primavera to optimize workflow.
• Demonstrated ability in supervising teams, promoting teamwork, and enhancing productivity.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $600.00 - $1,000.50 per week
