Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring vehicles are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. As an Automotive Detailer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the appearance of our customers' vehicles, contributing to their overall satisfaction. Bilingual candidates who can speak Spanish are highly preferred.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of vehicles, both interior and exterior, using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques.
- Conduct buffing and polishing of vehicle surfaces to restore shine and remove imperfections.
- Perform paint correction to eliminate surface scratches, oxidation, and other defects.
- Apply window tinting as needed, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Execute custodial tasks to maintain cleanliness in the detailing area and surrounding environment.
- Drive vehicles safely within the premises for cleaning and maintenance purposes.
- Manage car wash operations, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring their needs are met during the detailing process.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive detailing or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to clean vehicles thoroughly and efficiently while paying attention to detail.
- Familiarity with buffing equipment and techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of paint correction methods and experience in restoring vehicle paint surfaces.
- Experience with window tinting is advantageous but not required; training may be provided.
- Basic custodial skills to maintain cleanliness in work areas.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential for driving customer vehicles.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred to better assist a diverse customer base.
