Loader (Portage Region)
Responsibilities
- Manually or mechanically load and empty residential and/or commercial containers into truck.
- Position and/or return containers/receptacles on the customer's property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, enclosed doors are closed and secured, and containers/receptacles do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of routes.
- Operate hoisting device to lift and empty bins or containers into truck hopper.
- Assist driver with all backing maneuvers while on route.
