Loader (Philipsburg Region)
As a Loader, you will play a vital role in our waste collection operations, ensuring timely and efficient service for residential and commercial customers. This hands-on position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and teamwork. You’ll work alongside the driver to load and empty containers safely, assist with vehicle maneuvers, and maintain the overall efficiency of the route. Responsibilities:
- Load and empty residential and/or commercial containers into the truck manually or using mechanical equipment.
- Ensure containers are properly positioned after service, with lids replaced, doors secured, and no obstructions to driveways or traffic.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of assigned routes.
- Operate hoisting devices to lift and empty bins or containers into the truck hopper.
- Assist the driver with all backing maneuvers while on route.
