Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
- Utilize effective sales techniques to upsell products and increase overall sales.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking merchandise and ensuring displays are well-presented.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Supervise junior staff when required, providing guidance and support during shifts.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to demonstrate products confidently and effectively.
- Experience in stock management and merchandising is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude towards upselling and achieving sales targets is essential.
