Location : Albany, NY
Salary : $85,000 - $115,000 $2,000 Sign-on Bonus

About the Role
We are seeking a Project Engineer Bridge to join our dynamic team in Albany, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for complex engineering design tasks, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration while mentoring junior staff. You will work on bridge, retaining wall, and transportation infrastructure projects , ensuring compliance with industry standards and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Perform engineering design calculations and translate design criteria into completed projects.Work on projects including bridges (prestressed concrete and steel plate girder), retaining walls, and box culverts .Develop technical reports, investigatory studies, and structural detailing .Ensure compliance with client standards, DOT regulations, and engineering codes .Assist Project Managers with contract development, cost proposals, and technical scope of services .Lead project tasks, monitor budgets, and ensure timely delivery within cost parameters.Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to resolve design challenges.Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering .5 years of progressive experience in bridge design and transportation engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license required .DOT experience is mandatory .Prior experience in consulting engineering or construction industry preferred.Strong proficiency in engineering principles, design software, and project execution .Excellent verbal and written communication skills , including report writing.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively .Perks & Benefits
