Requirements
Education and Certification
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
EIT Certification required; working towards obtaining P.E. Certification.
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience in the structural engineering industry.
Proficiency in managing projects with minimal oversight.
Technical Skills
Experience with design tools including Revit, AutoCAD, RISA, Enercalc, Forte, RedSpec, Simpson Strong-Tie, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
Strong technical knowledge of International Building Code (IBC) and relevant design standards.
Familiarity with construction means and methods.
