Job Details
Data Analyst
Data Analyst Report Analyst type of consultant around source systems and target
systems analysis. Understanding these 2 pieces and understanding all the different
requirements inside of there. Identify people, setup meetings, talk to them. Observing,
finding where the information is and looking at the data.
Preference is onsite 5 days per week in Eagen MN. May consider 4 days per week.
No pipelining tasks as the engineers will handle that. Not team leads, not data engineers
Python and/or SQL- good hands on skills SQL being predominantly the first one, being
able to go through their write various queries to find information, know how to identify
various different types of requirements from the infrastructure level to understand how
much compute is this using; Self Starter, good communications both written and verbal.
Write detailed analysis reports on the data itself, where it is located and what it is using etc.
RedShift is a nice to have as that is where the data lives today for many things. Other data
systems include SQL Servers, RDS all is AWS infrastructure today.
PowerBI reporting capabilities may be an advantage to get extended to the next project.
Requirements:
Professional Expert Data Analysts
Healthcare Experience - Payer domain exp. highly desired
Experienced in Migration related sourcing and reporting analysis
Have been part of migrations
Data Analysis Discovery and Requirements Definitions:
Legacy Source Discovery
Data Quality Analysis
Initial Data Cleansing needs
Understanding what needs to be archived vs what needs to be migrated
Mapping it to Vendor platform expectations - Source vs Target mapping
Then analyzing current BI/Reporting/Extract needs
