🔧 Role OverviewAs a Camera Software Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and integrating advanced camera systems into cutting-edge robotic platforms. You’ll collaborate across multiple domains including computer vision, sensor calibration, motion planning, and more—from prototyping to production.
✅ Must-Have Skills- Hands-on experience with intrinsic and extrinsic calibration, including stereo camera systems
- Strong ability to optimize camera image acquisition (exposure control, network communication, etc.)
- Production-level C/C development for peripheral sensors (cameras, LiDARs, etc.)
- Lead full-cycle camera testing: A/B testing, fault detection, simulation, and hardware integration
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design, evaluate, and improve camera sensor systems
- Develop and maintain camera drivers and ensure seamless integration with AWS Data Stream Processing
- Provide ongoing remote diagnostics and support
- Contribute across multiple domains:
- Optical: FOV, resolution, AE/AWB/AF tuning, video encoding, image stabilization
- Mechanical: Camera mounting, environmental robustness
- Networking/Software: Device monitoring, system metrics, and video decoding
- Own the camera lifecycle: installation, diagnostics, performance tracking, and decommissioning
