Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Landscape Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. This role involves hands-on work in landscape installation, including paver patios, outdoor living spaces, and general curb appeal, contributing to the overall appearance and function of the design. The Lead Landscape Technician will also have opportunities to take on leadership responsibilities and oversee projects as needed.
If interested, there may be an opportunity to operate equipment in the winter for snow removal.
Duties:
· Work with the Hardscape Manager to plan and execute installation projects
· Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify issues or areas for improvement
· Read and interpret landscape designs and plans to ensure accurate execution
· Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to ensure expectations are met
· Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment required for hardscape installations
· Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges to maintain workflow and project integrity
Necessary Skills/Qualifications:
· Experience and knowledge of hardscape installation processes
· Be able to perform highly physical work consistently installing hardscape construction projects
· Must be able to maintain a clean and safe job site, as well as care for company equipment, tools, and vehicles
· Highly motivated to learn, self-driven and detail-oriented
· Punctual and dependable with a positive attitude
· Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
· Must be able to endure repetitive bending and twisting motions
· Must be able to lift more than 70 pounds
· Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
· 2 years’ experience working on a team completing hardscape construction projects
· 2 years’ experience operating skid steers, compact excavators, chainsaws, power tools, and other specialized equipment

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
