Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee our company's accounts receivable department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the collection of payments, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This individual will also be able to reply converse with the accounting departments of clients and vendors regarding logistics. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent leadership skills to guide a team in achieving financial accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Providing guidance and support to ensure timely collections and accurate reporting.
- Oversee medical collections processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Perform data entry tasks related to accounts receivable transactions, maintaining accuracy in all financial records.
- Ensure adherence to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance standards and (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Utilize Quickbooks Desktop software to track payments, manage invoices, and generate financial reports.
- Monitor debits and credits within the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Implement double entry bookkeeping practices to maintain comprehensive financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and improve overall collection processes.
Experience
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management or a similar role within a finance or accounting department.
- Proficiency in data entry with a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial documentation.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and tools used for managing accounts receivable functions.
- Understanding of SOX compliance requirements and GAAP principles is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
