C&Y Global Inc. is one of the fastest growing scrap-metal recycling companies in Texas, with warehouses in Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Newark, Oakland, and Chicago. From our establishment in 2004, our revenue has increased steadily. We are looking for high potential candidates who can grow with us.
Position: Buyer Assistant
Location: 16745 S. Lathrop Ave, Harvey, IL 60426
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 5:30PM
Pay: $45K - $70K Annual Salary
Responsibilities:
- High volume purchases of scrap metal commodities
- Acquire new customers and maintain current customers
- Meet with customers and potential leads on outbound visits
- Cold call potential leads on the telephone
- Price and buy metals accurately
- Establish a base of regular customers
- Ability to Speak Chinese a plus
- Tracking sales data; maintaining promotional materials inventory; planning meetings and trade shows; maintaining databases; preparing reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree, and or minimum of 5 years equivalent experience
- Self Starter, Excellent communication skills, and Import/Export experience a plus
- 1-3 year experience in Purchasing
- Knowledge of scrap metal is a plus
