This shop is looking for an experienced Diesel Service Technician to join their growing team. This Diesel Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of diesel and gas-powered vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, reliable, and efficient for our clients.
Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks and other fleet vehicles (gas and diesel engines).
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Collaborate with leadership to determine the best repair solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance services to ensure optimal vehicle performance and longevity.
- Work across a variety of vehicles including Chevrolet, Mack, Volvo, Kenworth, and Freightliner.
- Maintain compliance with industry and regulatory standards (NYS Inspection License preferred).
- Conduct routine inspections, anticipating potential issues to provide proactive repairs.
