Account Manager – Lawn Care & Landscape Services Residential Clients
Pro-Mow, located in Grand Rapids, MI, is a premier provider of lawn care and landscape services, known for our expertise in fertilizer and weed control, mowing, bed maintenance, irrigation, and seasonal cleanups. We are committed to enhancing outdoor living spaces and building lasting relationships with our clients. We are seeking a dedicated Account Manager to join our team. This full-time role involves managing and expanding client relationships, promoting our comprehensive range of services, and contributing to our growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer service, with a passion for the green industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of residential clients, identifying their needs and recommending suitable lawn care and landscape solutions.
- Prepare and present service proposals, estimates, and contracts, conducting site visits to assess property conditions and service needs.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent customer experience and addressing inquiries and service requests promptly.
- Collaborate with field crews to ensure services are completed as scheduled and to the highest quality standards, communicating job details and special instructions.
- Meet or exceed sales and retention targets, proactively seeking opportunities to upsell additional services.
- Participate in Home Expos and plan related activities to promote services.
- Monitor service quality, resolve issues proactively, and track sales activity, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Engage in snow operations during the off-season as needed.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer service, preferably in the lawn care or landscape industry.
- Understanding of fertilization, weed control, lawn maintenance, and seasonal landscaping maintenance practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport, negotiate, and provide excellent customer service.
- Proficiency with CRM software, estimating tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales goals.
- Valid Driver’s License required for client visits and site assessments.
Compensation
Salary range: $50k -$65k
