Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to use our quickbooks online software for invoicing, oversee daily phone calls, e-mails, and the scheduling of customers for our fast growing business. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring customers are scheduled properly, learn pest control terminolog, (will teach and have a cheat sheet) , answering any questions within state and federal law, and maintaining efficient routes for our current lead pest control technician. This position requires good communication skills, routing expertise (or ability to scheudle lots of jobs efficiently) , and the ability to work from home and be productive without supervision.

Duties

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and files for all office activities, including employee documentation and office supplies inventory.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting as needed.
  • Coordinate calendar or software (what works best for you) to organize customers into efficient work days for owner/lead tech.
  • Communicate with owner directly and customers to facilitate collaboration and address any issues that arise.
  • Implement organizational systems to enhance job completion productivity.
  • Ensure invoices/service records are printed out accurately and neatly.

Skills

  • Proven expertise in routing a high volume of customer services. Using software you are efficient in, and or, using excel or other software/methods to track jobs, completion of jobs, and scheduling remaining services.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred.
  • Friendly and or personable communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with owner and customers and or potential vustoemrd. .
  • Ability to manage calendars efficiently, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
  • Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and files.
  • Ability to route/coordiantr a high volume of work is a must.

Our office manager will have have the first opportunity in being a co-owner and or owner depending on circumstances.

Office manager may have their home treated for pests and or lawn fertiiized and weed control at no expense as a bonus.

OM will work from home most days. Those who are the best at what they do (you know who you are , just like i know im the best at what i do hash.) may run errands or do other tasks during the day as long as no phone calls are missed, emails, and schedules are completed for the next work morning for owner to complete.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: Up to $125.00 per day

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
