Responsibilities
- Conduct group fitness classes, including but not limited to kickboxing, Pilates, and other exercise formats.
- Provide one-on-one personal training sessions tailored to individual client needs.
- Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and anatomy to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Develop customized fitness programs based on clients' goals and fitness levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized workout space within the gym or health club environment.
- Promote fitness sales by encouraging participation in classes and personal training sessions.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in fitness and wellness to enhance class offerings and training methods.
- Foster a positive community atmosphere that motivates members to engage in their fitness journey.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics related to fitness training.
- Experience working in a health club or gym setting is preferred.
- Certification in group fitness instruction or personal training is required.
- Ability to lead diverse classes with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively.
- A passion for health and wellness with a commitment to helping others achieve their goals.
- Previous experience in fitness sales is a plus but not required.
