Using modern robotic crawler technology, Pro-Pipe East inspects several types of pipe assets - including sewer lines, spillways and manholes - for professional engineering firms, government agencies, large institutional and educational facilities, and in secure environments such as major airports and military installations. Pro-Pipe East strives to achieve a fast turnaround - from project start to final deliverables - without sacrificing quality. Pro-Pipe East's professionals are capable of performing in-house repairs on the road, preventing project delays should technical issues arise.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and breakdown of traffic control, as well as all equipment.
- Ability to work in confined space such as manholes, basins, tanks, etc.
- Safely operate vehicles on behalf of the company. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of all vehicles.
- Working safely around equipment, machinery, and bio-hazards, such as blood borne pathogens and sewage.
- Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes.
- Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures.
- Assist in set up of camera equipment and / or Vactor equipment
- Operate or maintain air monitoring or other sampling devices in confined or hazardous environments.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
