What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential House Tech (Live-In) position at Pro Recovery Solutions, LLC?
We are looking for a contractor live-in House Tech to join our team at Black Horse House! Black Horse House is a residential health care facility (RHCF) that promotes a therapeutic residence emphasizing psychosocial and emotional safety for residents. Resident inclusion is an integral aspect of service delivery, and there is a strong emphasis on helping clients avoid hospitalization. This is a "live in" position where the contractor will reside in the house.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing leadership and management in the delivery of the house's RHCF compliant services.
- Providing regular, consistent supervision to all residents to assure safety and well-being.
- Monitors and observes resident medication intake.
- Liaisons with outpatient wrap around support services.
- Ensures regular and consistent completion of all required written documentation, including services, administration, and staffing.
- Plans, directs, monitors, and evaluates the facility's activities.
- Ensures service coordination and strong communication and collaboration with outpatient agencies, doctors, pharmacies, and state representatives as needed relative to service delivery.
- Completes and forwards Incident Reports and any other safety/risk issues to supervisor.
- Ensures adherence to all RHCF policies and procedures.
- Understands policies and procedures regarding residents' rights, HIPAA, access to information, privacy, safety, and health.
- Recognizes, responds to and assists in crisis situations and provide the intervention necessary.
- Responds and assists in medical emergency situations as directed and needed.
- Communicates effectively with residents and interdisciplinary team regarding residents' needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Five years of working with individuals with mental health challenges or behavioral health direct care experience.
- Knowledge of DCA regulations.
- Ability to collaborate and liaise effectively with outpatient support services.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of human behavior and skills in risk assessment and referral for care.
