As a Heavy Equipment Technician, your responsibilities will include the maintenance and repair of equipment. When the equipment is returned, it will need to be inspected for any damage, repaired, and serviced as necessary. Services may encompass turnarounds, repairs, or annual maintenance.

A typical day may include the following responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain both diesel and gasoline engines.
- Service and operate a variety of equipment weighing over 10,000 pounds.
- Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Accurately look up necessary parts.
- Manage inventory and track costs for labor and parts.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area.
- Meet the company's record-keeping expectations.
- Recognize the cost of repairs in relation to their value.
- Stay flexible and adapt to the day's fluctuations.
Top candidates will have:
- Technical repair knowledge on a wide range of equipment
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and be self-motivated
- Driving record violation-free for previous three years
- All appropriate hand tools related to general repair and maintenance operations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes some Saturdays
- Able to lift 70 lbs. or more, several times per day

Salary : $30 - $40
