1st Shift CNC Lathe Operator

1st shift : 6 : 48am - 3 : 18pm

21.94-29.68 / hour depending on experience

A leading manufacturer of jacks, actuators and lifting systems is seeking a milling operator. The employee will be machining needed parts for orders.

Must have prior of 2 yrs. experience

Key Responsibilities :

Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce high-precision parts.

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the best machining processes.

Adjust machine settings and tooling to ensure optimal machining performance.

Perform routine maintenance on CNC lathe machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.

Monitor machine operations, ensuring the quality of finished parts by conducting regular inspections and measurements.

Ensure parts meet quality standards, making adjustments to the process or machine as necessary.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Work closely with other team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Document production and quality control results as required.

Requirements :

Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of CNC machining and programming, including familiarity with G-code and M-code.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in CNC machining is a plus.

Familiarity with CNC lathe software and controls is preferred.

Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds

Steel toed shoes are required

Will be required to take a Math test sent out by Joyce Dayton-make sure email address is updated.
