Job Position Description
1. The Returns Specialist is responsible for the daily activities of all company returns.
1. Reviewing product when returned and deciding what to do with product.
2. Could need to call customer who returned item and finding out details on why the return was done.
3. Job requires associates to take credit card information over the phone to process returns.
2. This individual is responsible for processing return requests from customers and to vendors across the country.
3. They research and resolve returns issues to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
4. Responsible for adherence to policies and procedures including meeting operational standards, improving quality service and accomplishing organizational goals.
5. Provides daily communication and builds relationships with peers, customers and vendors regarding returns to ensure they are processed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.
6. Assists in the identification of cost reduction measures and process improvement opportunities in all aspects of the returns process.
