Pay : $15 / hour

All 2nd shift employees sanitize the factory. Since they are unable to start until productions is done, some of them relieve 1st shift people and do production jobs until production is done and sanitizing can begin.

Position Summary :

The Can Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of metal cans used for packaging food, beverages, or other products. This role involves inspecting cans for defects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting the overall production process to maintain high product quality. The Can Inspector will perform visual and automated inspections, report any discrepancies, and help maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Visual Inspections : Conduct regular visual inspections of cans to detect any defects such as dents, rust, improper sealing, or irregular shapes that could affect the quality or safety of the product.
• Quality Assurance Support : Assist in implementing and enforcing quality assurance protocols and contribute to efforts aimed at improving production processes and product quality.
• Compliance : Ensure that all cans inspected meet local, national, and international regulatory requirements for packaging safety and quality.
• Collaboration : Work closely with production operators, maintenance teams, and quality control managers to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Cleaning and Maintenance : Ensure that inspection tools and equipment are clean and properly maintained.
• Safety Awareness : Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Report unsafe conditions immediately.
