Position Summary : The Order Picker is responsible for efficiently retrieving products from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders. This role requires operating an order picker machine, performing light computer tasks, and handling products at varying heights. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities :
- Order Fulfillment : Accurately select items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications, ensuring correct quantity, size, and quality.
- Equipment Operation : Safely operate an order picker machine to access products stored up to 20 feet high.
- Inventory Management : Utilize Mac computers and iPads to update inventory records and process orders.
- Quality Assurance : Inspect items for defects or damages before packing and staging for delivery.
- Physical Demands : Lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs , with a daily range of 100-500 boxes; stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
