Olson Pools & Spa - Service Technician

Equipment Installation and Maintenance:

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment according to company standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment.

Diagnosis and Troubleshooting:

• Identify and diagnose issues with equipment or systems.
• Troubleshooting problems using appropriate testing.

Repair Replacements:

• Perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components or parts.

• Ensure that replacements meet quality and safety standards.

Customer Interaction:

• Interact with customers to understand and address their service needs.
• Provide clear expectations of the service performed and answer any customer queries.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Prepare service reports and submit them in a timely manner.

Preventive Maintenance:

• Implement preventive maintenance measures to reduce the likelihood of equipment breakdowns.
• Schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all service activities.
• Ensure the work is performed in compliance with relevant safety standards.

Training and Development:

• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex issues.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to share knowledge and insights.

Quality Assurance:

• Maintain a commitment to high-quality service delivery.
• Conduct quality checks after service activities to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Experience as a service technician in a related field is a plus, but we are willing to train.
• Strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Service truck and tools are supplied.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to pass a physical.

Salary: $22-25/ hour with possibility of overtime, DOE.
