Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain floor care through buffing and polishing as needed.
- Conduct commercial cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of the building.
- Carry out custodial duties including trash removal and surface sanitization.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and polishing, is a plus.
- Ability to handle industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
