We pay Net 30, if this will be an issue, please do not apply. If you begin right away, your first paycheck will be on Feb 15th. Prorated of course to match the time you serviced the location.
This location needs to be serviced during business hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Chemicals and equipment will be on site.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Conduct commercial cleaning duties in various settings such as offices, schools, or industrial facilities.
- Maintain restrooms by restocking supplies, cleaning fixtures, and ensuring sanitary conditions.
- Carry out floor care activities including buffing and stripping wax as needed.
- Assist with custodial duties such as trash removal and recycling efforts.
- Ensure all areas are free of hazards and maintain safety protocols at all times.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management.
- Occasionally assist with residential painting tasks when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions effectively.
