Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating dump trucks and heavy equipment, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. This role involves transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and debris to various construction sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Safely back up and dump asphalt into paver.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed, utilizing loader operations when required.
- Follow all safety protocols while on the job site, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Valid class A CDL has a higher pay rate.
- Proven experience operating dump trucks in a construction environment.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including loader operation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and site supervisors.
