Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable (A / P-A / R) Accounting Manager
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced A / P-A / R Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our client’s Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with control procedures, optimizing payment processing, and fostering team development. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a keen eye for process improvements and a commitment to staff training and retention.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and manage a team of six A / P and A / R staff, ensuring efficient daily operations.
- Maintain adherence to internal control procedures and compliance standards.
- Oversee timely processing of payments and receivables.
- Train and develop staff, providing opportunities for skill expansion and career growth.
- Identify and resolve A / P and A / R issues independently as they arise.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the Director.
- Proven experience managing A / P and A / R functions in an accounting or finance setting.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and retention.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and process optimization mindset.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems, particularly Microsoft Excel
