Our client, a large law firm in New England, is looking for an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join their team in Portland, Maine . You'll help lawyers with immigration cases , manage paperwork, and keep clients updated.
What You’ll Do :
- Assist attorneys with immigration cases from start to finish.
- Prepare and file visa applications and petitions for different types of work and family-based immigration cases.
- Keep track of deadlines, case progress, and client information.
- Organize documents and do legal research.
- Work with other legal assistants and paralegals.
- A Bachelor’s degree or law-related coursework.
- 2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal, especially in business immigration .
- Strong writing, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using immigration software like Docketwise, LawLogix, or eIMMIGRATION .
