Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development
Create and launch a comprehensive technology brand communications strategy aligned with our client’s business goals.
Craft compelling messages and narratives that position our client as a leader in technology innovation.
Identify target audiences and design impactful communication plans tailored to each group.
Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure our messaging remains relevant and resonant.
Establish performance metrics to measure success and track progress toward strategic objectives.
Thought Leadership
Establish our client as a thought leader in technology through the creation of engaging content, including blog posts, articles, white papers, and public speaking.
Work closely with the CTO and other key technology executives to enhance and share their thought leadership.
Secure opportunities for speaking engagements at key industry conferences to showcase our expertise.
Content Creation & Management
Oversee the development of high-quality content that effectively communicates our technology capabilities and achievements.
Manage the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and various communication materials.
Ensure aligned messaging and branding across all communication channels.
Events & Engagement
Lead the strategy and execution of technology events, such as conferences, meetups, and hackathons.
Manage participation in external technology events including sponsorships and speaking opportunities.
Encourage engagement with the tech community through both online and offline initiatives.
Internal Communications
Develop strategies for internal communications to keep employees informed of technology initiatives and successes.
Collaborate with HR and internal teams to promote a culture of innovation and teamwork.
Team Leadership
Guide and mentor a team of communications and events staff, providing support and feedback.
Promote a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
5 years of experience in brand communications, public relations, or corporate communications within the technology industry.
Proven record of developing and executing successful brand communication strategies.
Strong knowledge of media relations, thought leadership, and digital communications.
Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation abilities.
Experience managing public relations agencies and partnerships.
Ability to distill complex technical concepts into engaging narratives.
Excellent project management skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with emerging technologies (e.g., AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity).
Experience in event management and community engagement within the technology sector.
Knowledge of digital analytics tools to assess communication effectiveness.
Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and creative teams.
We have an immediate need for this position, offered as a 10-12 month contract with competitive compensation based on experience.
