What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vacuum Truck Operator/ Hydroblast Supervisor position at Pro Serve Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and/or any specialized hydro blasting and/or chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment being used on the job.
- Oversight of fieldwork encompassed in industrial cleaning, UST removal, waste handling and disposal, site demolition, emergency spill response and/or site cleanup projects; perform setup, decontamination, teardown, and other necessary tasks as directed.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures; promptly reports concerns or potential violations in accordance with reporting procedures; consults supervisor/manager with questions relating to compliance with policies and procedures.
- Properly prepare equipment and worksite daily.
- Arrive at the office or job site on time, in uniform, properly groomed and ready to work.
- Operates extremely high pressure water blast equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment (pipe, boilers, tanks, heat exchangers, bundles, etc)
- Load hoses, chemicals and other equipment required for assigned jobs on trucks.
- Hook up and break down hoses using proper tools.
- Cleanup work area and equipment after work is completed.
- Read work orders and collect all basic equipment to perform tasks.
- Follow all company and OSHA mandated safety policies and procedures.
- Trains Technicians on-the-job in equipment operation, services, processes, and necessary paperwork.
- Responsible for operating and maintaining all equipment associated with the individual's primary service line. The ability to operate and maintain other service line equipment is strongly desired and will weigh heavily during review and further promotion.
- Inspects company vehicles, equipment and tools before leaving the yard and after returning to the yard. Reports deficiencies to appropriate management personnel.
- Assists in project planning of jobs including on-site inspections, writing procedures, specifying equipment and chemicals, etc.
- Communicates the status of the assigned job to division management and customer representatives (before, during and after the job is completed).
- Assists Technician(s) in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.
- Responsible for hookup and breakdown of equipment using proper tools and procedure.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Requirements:
- -Valid Driver's License.
- - Clean Driving Record.
- - Class A CDL License.
- - High School Diploma/GED.
- - TWIC card
- - OSHA card
- - Current and Valid DOT Certificate.
- - Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
- - Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- - Must be able to work Holidays, Weekends, and be on call 24/7.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
