Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Implementation Program/Project Manager to lead and oversee full life-cycle implementations of Epic systems. This role requires expertise in managing the planning, execution, and optimization phases of Epic projects, ensuring successful integration and adoption across healthcare organizations.
The ideal candidate must be based in Florida and be open to traveling onsite as needed to support implementation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Epic system implementations, from planning through post-go-live optimization.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, IT teams, and Epic-certified analysts, to define project scope and objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Manage budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget project completion.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, track progress, and proactively resolve roadblocks.
- Oversee system configuration, integration, testing, training, and user adoption efforts.
- Ensure Epic workflows align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, vendors, and Epic representatives.
- Drive continuous improvement post-implementation, gathering feedback and optimizing workflows.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years leading Epic implementations.
- Epic certification in one or more modules (preferred).
- Proven track record of managing full life-cycle Epic implementations in large healthcare systems.
- Strong understanding of Epic modules, interoperability, and integration with third-party applications.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid role, managing remote tasks while traveling onsite as needed.
- PMP, CPHIMS, or related certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Must be based in Florida and open to travel for onsite support.
