We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for the planning, design, configuration, implementation, and support of infrastructure components such as networks, telecommunications, servers, storage, and software. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure stability, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, configure, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure systems.
- Provide escalation support for infrastructure issues and troubleshooting.
- Partner with engineering teams to define best practices, standards, and configuration management.
- Evaluate and recommend vendor-supplied hardware, software, and components for optimal performance.
- Maintain technical documentation for telecommunications, network, server, storage, and system software.
- Diagnose, isolate, and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Ensure alignment of infrastructure solutions with business requirements.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide tier-two support for network-related issues.
- Perform capacity and resource planning for network systems.
- Stay updated on network and telecommunications technologies.
- 7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
- Strong ability to lead support response calls and provide technical guidance.
- Expertise in:
- Hypervisors, Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server, Red Hat
- SolarWinds, Splunk, Certificates, F5, SSO/ADFS
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze technical diagrams and procedures.
- Ability to interpret and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working in telecommunications, networking, security, storage, and server environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work across multiple disciplines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts.
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's or Technical degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
