We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow CMDB/ITOM Developer to join our team. This role involves developing and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various departments to understand requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement custom applications, workflows, and integrations within ServiceNow.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and resolve production problems.
- Review code to maintain quality standards and provide technical guidance to the development team.
- Manage development projects, including planning, scoping, and resource allocation.
- Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and propose enhancements.
- Mentor junior ServiceNow developers, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Maintain and optimize ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM, and Asset Management modules to ensure data accuracy.
- Implement and manage ITOM processes, including Event Management, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Improve asset management processes to effectively track and manage IT assets.
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification from ServiceNow.
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in ITOM (Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping) or ITAM (SAM, HAM).
- Proven experience in ServiceNow platform development, including scripting and architecture.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software design best practices.
- Ability to lead development teams, manage projects, and make key technical decisions.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, teams, and senior management.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM, and Asset Management.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
