Job Overview
We are seeking a highly technical Solution Architect specializing in backend services and APIs. This role involves designing and developing scalable, cloud-native services while ensuring seamless integration across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in AWS cloud solutions, application development, and database design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, cloud-native services and applications.
- Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices.
- Develop backend domain services such as Pricing, Inventory, and Order Services.
- Design and integrate APIs (REST, GraphQL, SOAP) and manage enterprise application integrations (Kafka, pub/sub).
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise policies, industry standards, and security best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies that meet business and IT needs.
Required Skills & Experience
- Backend Services & API Expertise: Strong background in designing and developing APIs and cloud-native architectures.
- SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration): Understanding required, no hands-on configuration needed.
- PostgreSQL Expertise: Experience in database design and management.
- AWS Cloud Platform: Deep knowledge of AWS services and tools.
- Event-Driven Architecture & Business Knowledge: Ability to design solutions for event-driven processing.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with SAP S/4 and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Understanding of SAP Sales and Distribution modules (Order Management, Pricing, Invoice Management).
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Technical degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.

The individual will lead the overall technical vision for a platform or solution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop solution designs and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Ensure seamless API integration with SAP S/4 and other business applications.
- Design solutions that are easily consumable across multiple channels (Web, Mobile, Chat).
- Develop architecture blueprints addressing functional requirements, system integration, and user experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
