What You’ll Do

• Lead & Mentor: Oversee a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Architect & Develop: Design and implement scalable software solutions while staying hands-on with coding.
• Drive Strategy: Align technology roadmaps with business objectives, ensuring seamless execution.
• Own the Full SDLC: Manage everything from planning to deployment with a strong focus on best practices and security compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI DSS).
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and C-level executives to drive success.
• Ensure Quality & Performance: Implement CI/CD pipelines, testing methodologies, and scalable architectures.

What We’re Looking For

• 7 years of software development experience, with 3 years in a lead role.
• Leadership Mindset: Proven track record of mentoring, coaching, and scaling development teams
• Hands-on Development: Ability to code, debug, and optimize across Python, Node.js, AWS, APIs, and microservices.
• Agile & Waterfall Expertise: Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and traditional project management.
• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with AWS, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
• B2B/B2C & E-Commerce Integration: Bonus points for experience with payment gateways (Stripe, Square, CyberSource).
• Excellent Communication Skills: Able to speak with C-level executives and non-technical stakeholders with confidence.
• Problem-Solver: Not afraid to ask the tough questions and challenge existing processes.

Bonus Points

• Healthcare/Pharma Experience: Understanding of PHI regulations and healthcare software development.
• System Architecture Expertise: Knowledge of modern software architecture, OLTP, and database design.
• Bachelor’s Degree in CS/Engineering (or equivalent experience).
