Location: Alexandria, MN

Pro Staff is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) professional to join our team in Alexandria, MN, to support our Extrusion department as an Extrusion Support Lead / Materials Support Lead. In this combined role, you will oversee the extrusion press department, ensure smooth material handling, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts while fostering a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the extrusion press team in daily operations, ensuring production goals and customer specifications are met.
• Exhibit active leadership to support the company's vision and strategies.
• Operate extrusion presses, saws, cranes, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
• Manage material packing, trailer loading, die handling, and movement to ensure smooth department flow.
• Provide training and support to team members while cross-training to meet evolving department and business needs.
• Ensure a safe, organized work environment following 5S principles and safety protocols.
• Identify and implement methods for reducing costs and improving operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues, inspect products for quality, and apply continuous improvement techniques.
• Build strong relationships within the team and department, supporting a collaborative culture.
• Assist in interviewing and selecting new team members when needed.
• Ensure communication regarding any delays or changes in scheduled arrival times of materials/products.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience required.
• 2 years of aluminum extrusion experience preferred.
• 1 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Strong math skills and proficiency in basic computer programs.
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
