What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician position at Pro Talent Group?
Pro Talent Group, a division of MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Indianapolis, IN . This role is critical in maintaining equipment, reducing downtime, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Weekend work, early starts, or late ending times may be required
Responsibilities :
Perform preventive and condition-based maintenance to OEM standards
Analyze line performance data and recommend improvements
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives
Train operators on basic maintenance tasks
Maintain detailed records in the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications :
3-5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required
Food or beverage manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Strong mechanical and basic electrical skills
Experience with packaging, conveyance, and liquid / powder manufacturing equipment
Basic knowledge of PLC (Allen Bradley) preferred
Familiarity with CMMS and production workflow / control systems
Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and improve equipment performance
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements :
Ability tostand, walk, kneel, reach, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions
Comfortable working in afast-paced, manufacturing environment
Must be able towork extended hours, including overtime and weekends as needed
