Job Description :
Commercial Security Sales Consultant will be responsible for increased sales of commercial security systems and other security related solutions by aggressively soliciting and generating leads.
Specific responsibilities include :
- Proactively identify new sales leads and prospective clients
- Consistently attend networking events (e.g. local chamber events, industry events, etc.) to build contacts, sales leads, and prospective clients
- Establish relationships with existing clients to obtain referrals to develop into new sales leads and prospective clients
- Conduct site visits to inspect customers' premises and recommend security solutions consistent with Company practices
- Design security solutions in accordance with client's needs
- Prepare sales quote documents according to established Company procedure with accurate labor and parts estimates
- Assist technicians with job preparation and change orders, as necessary
- Follow-up on outstanding sales quotes
- Follow-up with customers to determine satisfaction with completed job
- Follow-up with non-payment issues, if necessary
- Offer exceptional customer service
- Attend sales meetings
- Develop and maintain expertise on products sold and including emerging technology and product offerings
- Meet or exceed sales quotas
Requirements
Job Qualifications :
Required Education or Formal Training : High school degree or equivalent required.
Required Experience / Knowledge : 3-5 years of proven outside sales experience, required.
General knowledge of building trades : required
Security industry experience : required
Specific project knowledge (Preferred but not required) :

Compensation :
This position pays base salary plus commission. A vehicle allowance and cell phone will be provided. Generally a base of $40,000 - $55,000 plus an uncapped commission, depending on experience, making yearly compensation around $80,000 - $100,000.
