Job Summary
Pro-tech is seeking a Service Manager to work directly with our customer and service team both on route and in-house. Responsibilities include supervising the service team who provides customer service, sales and the pick-up and delivery of products to our customers; hiring, training, developing and evaluating the service team to ensure Pro-tech customers receive the highest level of customer service and product quality in the most efficient manner; you will be assisting the service team with lifting, carrying and walking in and out of customer accounts. This position will oversee several key service department areas including maintaining excellent customer relationships, materials and inventory; maintaining machinery, cost control and increasing internal sales; maintaining an efficient route structure and technician training and compliance. This is a middle-management position with direct supervisory and leadership accountability.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Supervise and mentor service staff, providing training on repair techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Oversee service writing processes to ensure accurate documentation of customer requests and services performed.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction with services provided.
- Monitor inventory levels for material and supplies related to services needed
- Implement strategies to enhance sales in the service department through effective collaboration with the sales team.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
