Busy, local, family-owned and operated Termite and Pest Control company seeking a positive, friendly, reliable, trustworthy and organized Scheduler/Customer Service Specialist to join our team! You will perform receptionist, scheduling, administrative and accounting functions in order to drive company success.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to work full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Provide excellent customer service over the phone
- Answer inbound telephone calls and use 2-way radio
- Strong computer skills
- Review daily production in Pestpac software system
- Draft and e-mail correspondences and other formal documents, such as proposals
- Execute lien waivers
- Request insurance certifications
- Submit monthly pay applications on a variety of different applications such as Textura, CMIC, GC Pay and Procore
- Process certified payroll for some projects via ELATIONS online platform
- Process credit card and check payments
- Issue HUD forms (99B)
- Dispatch and schedule appointments for technicians all over the state of Florida
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PestPac
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and companies
- Effectively communicate with other team members and customers over the phone
- Some telephone sales
- Demonstrate interest in our particular industry, such as learning about all of the different termite and pest control chemicals, treatments, warranties, renewals, etc.
- Other office tasks such as copying, scanning, making files, using postage meter, stuffing envelopes, etc.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in office administration (pest control or construction industry/subcontractor office experience is preferred)
- A positive attitude and outlook
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Access, Outlook and PestPac software (mobile and/or VRM is a plus!)
- Strong knowledge of Florida geography
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy, hectic environment while staying focused and calm
- Ability to take direction and willingness to be a team player
- Ability to work independently if needed
- Eligible penmanship
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong typing skills (at least 50 wpm)
- Eagerness to learn and accept constructive criticism
- Spanish speaking (Bilingual) is a plus
